Josh Narvaez (D) commits to Utah

September 13, 2018 Salt Lake City, UT University of Utah Hockey has received a commitment from Defenseman Josh Narvaez for the upcoming 2018-19 season. Narvaez, a native of Chicago, Illinois, graduated from Jacobs High School in Algonquin, Illinois, where he was a four-sport athlete playing Football, Hockey, Wrestling, and Track. After high school he played NCAA Division 3 Football & ACHA Division 2 Hockey for Augustana College, where he tailed 70 points in 64 games for the Vikings. In the Fall of 2016 Narvaez transferred to the University of Utah to pursue a degree in Business Management. Head Coach Brett Huras stated, “Josh is a versatile player who can play defense or center. He has a team-first attitude and isn’t afraid to play a physical-style game. He brings needed ACHA experience with him and we are glad to have him on board.” Utah Hockey would like to welcome Josh and wish him the best in the upcoming season.
