Erica Pires named as Marketing Project Manager

January 14, 2021 Salt Lake City, Utah University of Utah Hockey is pleased to announce the addition of Erica Pires to the role of Marketing Project Manager for the Utah Hockey organization. Erica was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She moved to Salt Lake City 4 years ago to pursue her Master’s in Information Systems at the University of Utah. Erica has a background in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, and Graphic Design. Academics is her passion, and has earned 3 degrees: Bachelor’s in Social Communication in Marketing and Advertising, Master’s in Communication for Digital Media, and Master’s in Information Systems. She has been working with communications and marketing for 13 years and loves connecting with fans! Her goal is to share all the news about the program and our student athletes to our Utah Hockey Fans. She hopes to bring you closer to the teams through our website and social media platforms. “Erica is a great addition to our program. She is eager to share her expertise and continue to build our fan base. We are excited to see where she takes our platforms,” said Women’s GM Aimee Frost. Pires’ work began with Utah Hockey by choosing to partner on her MSIS Capstone Project. Her work also includes several future projects that focus on long term benefits of Utah Hockey. “Erica is a highly skilled addition to our staff and will help us expand our reach in the hockey community,” said GM AJ Boldan. “Her vast knowledge and experience will strengthen our entire program.
