2026 Men’s Recruiting Weekend begins this Friday

April 13, 2026 Salt Lake City, Utah University of Utah Hockey will conduct their Men’s Recruiting and Tryout Weekend for the 2026-27 Season this weekend. This weekend is open to all currently enrolled or prospective (future/non-admitted) University of Utah Students. Weekend participants must attend all sessions and games, and register online by midnight on April 15, 2026. Team assignments will be given out at check-in. Weekend cost is $99 (before January 16th) and payable by credit card when registering online. Tryout fees increase to $139 on January 17th and $169 after March 17th. Please note tryout fees are non-refundable. Required tryout and liability forms will be emailed after the student-athlete completes the registration process and must be completed in full before being allowed on the ice. Roster spots will only be offered to student-athletes who have applied to the University of Utah by the application deadline. We highly advise all those in attendance to submit their applications to the University of Utah before the April 1, 2025 application deadline. Discounted hotel accommodations can be found here. April 18, 2026 –Ice Session 2: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM -Recruitment BBQ: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM –Ice Session 3: 7:00 PM – 9:45 PM We highly recommend attendance for the following reasons: -The entire weekend is designed to provide all the information so you can make an informed decision about your college hockey home -You will be able to meet with the entire coaching and medical staff on an individual level -Team BBQ so you can meet the entire team outside the rink -It’s a ton of fun!
